Within Women’s Wellness Center

Coming this fall!

The vision for Within Women’s Wellness Center was born from my professional work as a therapist specializing in eating disorders and complex trauma, as well as my own lived experience. I have consistently sought out women’s gatherings focused on connection and healing. As a clinician and a participant, I have witnessed firsthand the profound need for spaces where women can feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported while navigating societal expectations surrounding their bodies, careers, relationships, caregiving roles, and identity.

The center is intended to be a holistic wellness community and a safe haven that offers compassionate, trauma-informed care. At the heart of this vision is an integrative approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and soul. In addition to traditional therapeutic services, the center will emphasize nervous system regulation and spiritual healing through offerings such as sound baths, trauma-informed yoga, somatic practices, and mindfulness experiences. While the emphasis on women’s health and wellness is intentional, this space is an open sanctuary for all who identify as female. In the future, we may also expand offerings for anyone interested in working from a socially conscious, compassionate and equity minded set of core philosophies.

If you are a holistic practitioner dedicated to the care and well-being of women, I welcome the opportunity to connect with you about the many opportunities that await you here at Within. Please reach out at the link provided below. The center offers thoughtfully designed private offices, along with a beautiful communal kitchen, conference room, and group gathering space intended to encourage collaboration, education, workshops, and community events. Together, we can cultivate a welcoming environment rooted in compassion, connection, and holistic healing.

I’m so excited to be on this journey with you.

With love and gratitude,

Melissa

How Can Therapy Help?

Some people may be hesitant to make an appointment with a therapist or may become concerned that seeing a therapist means they are weak or flawed. But therapy is about healing and growth through understanding and compassion. For more information, or to find out about appointment cost and availability, email Melissa Wheelock, LMFT today.
